Prosignal's
Web servers collect all the standard usage information
that is included in the NCSA extended/combined log format.
Prosignal uses this information internally to track
usage of our site and performance. Because some of our
advertising is served by third parties, they will receive
the standard Web server log information.
For
all Prosignal visitors:
Prosignal may use cookies, depending on a user's preference, to improve the
functionality of the Web site, and to enhance the member experience. The non-member
Prosignal
cookies
a)identify
your Internet browser, not you as an individual, and b)track your session on
the site and expire when you close your browser. If your browser does not have
a cookie from Prosignal, one will be served to you when you first visit
our site and will identify your browser as a new visitor. If you already have
a cookie from us, we identify your browser as a repeat visitor. Prosignal
will only use cookies to remember the usernames of visitors, who decide
to become Prosignal members and who chooses to let their browser save cookies.
The Prosignal cookies do not collect any personal
information, and expire either after 180 days or when you close your browser.
Most
Internet browsers can be set to notify you when a cookie
is being placed on your computer. You can refuse to accept
cookies, and you can erase cookies that are already on
your computer. For more information, please consult the
user's manual, FAQ, or Help function of your browser and
operating system software.
For
Prosignal Members:
The foregoing information applies to you. Additionally, Prosignal will not
sell your name or email, or share them with unaffiliated third parties. Though
Prosignal may share aggregate demographic and other general information
with its advertisers and partners, it will never include data identifying you
personally.
Prosignal
will not disclose any information to unaffiliated third
parties that could identify you personally, except when
we have your permission to do so. However, under certain
circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that
we are required to do so by law, your information may be
disclosed. Prosignal may disclose your personal information
when we believe that its disclosure is necessary to identify,
contact, or bring legal action against someone who may
be in violation of the Member Agreement or may be injuring,
infringing or interfering with Prosignal's rights or
property, or those of other members or securities being
discussed, whether this interference, infringement or injury
is deliberate or unintentional.
All
the portfolio data is maintained by Bigcharts. Prosignal
does not examine the contents of your portfolio. Under
no circumstances will the contents of any of our members'
Prosignal portfolios
be shared with
anyone.
Please
keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal
information online (on message boards, through email, or
in chat areas, for example) that information can be collected
and used by others. In short, if you post personal information
online that is accessible to the public, you may receive
unsolicited messages from other parties in return.
Ultimately,
you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy
of your passwords and/or any account information. Please
be careful and responsible when you're online. |
